- Introduction
The protection of your personal data is important to us, SDD GmbH, as the responsible body, and we understand data protection as a natural corporate task.
With this data protection declaration, we would like to explain how SDD GmbH handles your personal data. The data protection declaration contains what data we collect from you as a

- What data is collected from you?
We collect from visitors to our websites:
Name of the retrieved web page
Date and time of retrieval
amount of data transferred
Notification of successful retrieval
Browser type and version
the user’s operating system
Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
anonymized IP address
the requesting provider.
This so-called log file information is stored for a maximum of 14 days for security reasons (e.g. to investigate misuse or fraud) and then deleted. In addition, we create further log files in the CMS on the above-mentioned basis, which log security-critical activities and incorrect page views (Error Code 404). These log files are automatically deleted after 30 days.
If you send us a message via our website, your first and last name and your e-mail address will be sent to us via the website program.
Applicant data: In order for us to be able to offer you suitable positions, we have to process certain information about you: (name, date of birth, contact details, address, your school and professional qualifications and professional career as well as information in accordance with the Security Checks Act (SÜG) for security-relevant positions).
Customer data: As a customer of SSD GmbH, we collect personal data so that we can contact you in a targeted manner in order to provide you with services (contact person in your company stating first and last name, department, previous business activities).
Employee data: Before you join our company, we process your personal data exclusively for the purpose of establishing a contractual relationship to the required extent. During the time of your employment or afterwards, your personal data will be processed to implement and/or terminate the contractual relationship. After the respective purpose has been achieved, your data will be deleted in compliance with the statutory retention periods, which are usually 10 years, or 30 years and longer for various data categories such as occupational pension schemes, unless you expressly agree to further storage, e.g. B. to receive further job offers that may be of interest to you in the future.
Data of our business partners and suppliers: We collect all personal data of our contact persons with regard to the processing of our contractual relationships to ensure our smooth business relationships and compliance with applicable regulations and legal requirements.
The legal basis for our data collection is the GDPR, Art. 6 Para. 1 b) and f).

We collect your personal data in the course of working with you and use information that is made available via professional networks (e.g. Xing).
- How do we protect your personal data?
We take all reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the personal information we hold against misuse, loss or unauthorized access. To do this, we use a number of technical and organizational measures, including to prevent data breaches.
If you suspect that your personal information has been misused, lost, or accessed without authorization, please let us know as soon as possible.

We do not transmit your personal data to third parties for reasons other than those listed below.
We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

- this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of our contractual relationships with you,
- the disclosure of the data is based on a legal obligation, as well as
- the transfer of the data is justified by a special interest and at the time there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data.

If we have not had any relevant contact with you for a year, we will remove your personal data from our systems, unless we are required by law or other regulations to keep the data.

- Use of Cookies
A “cookie” is a small data file that is stored on your computer’s hard drive.
We use cookies for the optimal design and continuous improvement of our website

10.Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), to analyze, optimize and operate our online offering efficiently. Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offer by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online offer and to provide us with other services related to the use of this online offer and internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; In addition, users can prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer from being collected and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools .google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

- Use of Google Maps
This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
In order to use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. As the provider of this site, we have no influence on this data transfer.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offerings and to make our location easy to find. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR.
